The Philadelphia Eagles added depth at linebacker earlier this week with the signing of Dannell Ellerbe and now have improved their offensive line.
Former New York Giants tackle Will Beatty signed a one-year deal with the Eagles on Tuesday.

Philadelphia could obviously use the depth following the season-ending knee injury to Jason Peters in the Eagles’ Week 7 victory against the Washington Redskins. The Eagles’ backups at tackle behind Lane Johnson and Halapoulivaati Vaitai were Isaac Seumalo, who struggled as a starter at left guard before being benched after allowing four sacks in Week 2, and former defensive lineman Taylor Hart.
That wasn’t cutting it.
The 32-year-old Beatty played six games for the Giants in 2016 after missing the entire 2015 campaign with a torn pectoral muscle. He was drafted in the second round of the 2009 draft and started 63 of a possible 88 games with the G-Men.
