There’s nothing quite like a Monday morning where the Dallas Cowboys lost to one of the worst teams in the National Football League and Eagles haven’t played yet. Down 12 points late in the fourth quarter Sunday, Mike McCarthy put on a clinic on playcalling. That is, a clinic on what not to do when you’re down 12 points with less than four minutes left in the game.
It’s as if Brad Sham and Babe Laufenberg knew exactly what was coming after that run on 2nd and goal.

I think we can appreciate Jonathan Gannon’s efforts here as a head coach while simultaneously realizing he still was probably looking forward more to this game as a head coach than he was Super Bowl LVII as a defensive coordinator, so… he’s still on the list.
