Major League Baseball released the 2017 regular season schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
The Phillies have a rough but familiar start to the season with a road series against the Cincinnati Reds kicking off the 2017 campaign before returning home for a six-game homestand against NL East rivals, Washington Nationals and the New York Mets. Here’s a look at the schedule:
In addition to the usual visitors to Citizen’s Bank Park, the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics, and San Francisco Giants are among some of the notable teams that are set to visit CBP.
The 2017 All-Star Break in Miami is set for July 10-12, with an additional rest day on July 14.
The Phillies are doing battle with the AL West for interleague play in 2017.
The team wraps up the regular season and a hopefully playoff push, at home with a three-game set against the New York Mets, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
