Just last week, I was able to sit in on a group chat called “Chalk-Talk” that featured the perfect emcee when anything has to do with football, Mr. Ron Jaworski. The panel was filled out by Mel Kiper Jr., Brian Baldinger, and a few other draft experts. The main reason for having the event was to promote the upcoming NFL Draft – happening right here in Philly, as you may have heard – from April 27th through the 29th.

Jaws said that over 200k people are expected to be on the Ben Franklin Parkway on Thursday night, April 27th, for the first round. That’s an amazing number! No matter the size, there’s absolutely no way I’m missing this event! But 200k for one night compared to the summer concert series known as “Made In America,” which brings in normally 130-150K people for the weekend, in total, is astounding! Stop your complaining about both events, bringing that many people to our area for a weekend is a great thing!
