Afternoon Tug 6-10-15

Yes, Lebron James is good, real good. But last night and throughout these three finals games, Lebron is on a different level. One that I’m not sure we’ve seen since the days of MJ. (Sorry Kobe) After three games of play, Lebron is averaging 41 points per game. He’s scored 123 points through the first three finals games, a new league record. Of the 154 minutes of game time in Games 1-3, LBJ has sat for 12 of them. He has played 142 minutes and six seconds so far. Can I keep going!? Thank you. Last night Bron sat down with Dwayne Wade and John Anderson during the post game coverage on ESPN, and really opened up. He mentioned how being passed over for the MVP this year, (Finished third) provided him with a little extra motivation for the playoffs. (Always enjoy when we find a piece of what makes the greats tick.) Finally, Lebron wasn’t finished there with the ultra access into his soul. James was asked by a member of the media, if he felt “out of character,”(4:35 mark) shooting so many times. Lebron’s answer tells one thing, and no, I haven’t lost my mind. That is, if Lebron James from Akron, Ohio, the best damn player on this planet. If he wanted to, he could average 40+ during the season. He’s unstoppable right now and I’m thinking the Warriors know it.

***Godfatherlocks.com went 5-0 last night including, a huge Cavs 10* winner. The boy is on fire and is honestly the only one I know, that took the Cavs in the series. Like, actual money on it, not words. Follow him on twitter @godfatherlocks

Eagles talk: Cary Williams decided to run his mouth (confusing at times) yesterday about Chip Kelly and his practice ways to a Seattle radio station. No surprise at all. Earlier today I posted a video of my thoughts on the Cary/Chip saga

Forbes released its yearly list of the “Worlds Highest Paid Athletes.” Of course, I know you can name the top dog but can you fill out the top 10 without cheating? Give it a shot. (7 out of 10 aint bad) (Forbes)

Next year will mark 27 seasons for “The Simpsons.” Is it time to hang it up? Not if its still getting ratings and that is exactly what Fox is hoping to raise with its upcoming storyline. Homer & Marge, America’s number 1 couple, are to be legally separated next season. (Actually looking forward to Homer hitting the strip clubs with Barney and shutting down Moe’s every night.) But we all know in real life, break ups suck and they never feel as good, as the way TV or movies make them out to be. Like Al Green said Homer, Stay Together my man. (Time)

Finally a plug for this evening:

“The Sons Of Ben” movie premiere is happening tonight, at the Troc and I’m looking forward to meeting the OG’s of the Sons Of Ben. Keep up with me on twitter and Periscope as I plan on acting up tonight! Still tickets available if you’re looking for something to do. #Doop
