Odubel Herrera was the hero earlier today after being a goat last night by not running out a double play ground ball. Herrera hit a walkoff single, and absolutely knew what was coming next. After he rounded first base, he knew Papelbon was coming for him and he wanted no parts of it. But Jo[h?]nny boy left him no choice.
This behavior is nothing new to Paps, who has a history of assaulting his teammates.

If I’m a Phillies player and I’m called on to hit in a potential game-winning situation at home, I’d probably quit the team at this point. Or I’m on the phone with Ruben Amaro pleading with him to trade Paps and take money out of my own contract.
