Cris Carter Said Buddy Ryan’s Practices Were Full of Fights, and Guns

There’s been a ton of fights this training camp season, and even the Eagles have been involved in a couple, albeit not as nasty as some of the other ones we’ve seen the last month.

Cris Carter was on ESPN yesterday and told a story about one of Buddy Ryan’s training camp fights, of which Carter says there were many, when a player packing heat in his car almost popped a cap in someone’s ass.

“That style was not conducive for the team being together. Compared to then, one unit, we were two units. Offense and then the defense, because there was so much fighting constantly. One player on the defense one time went to his car to get a gun.”
