The Phillies inducted Pat Burrell for some reason into their Wall of Fame last night. I’ll give the organization credit, they really know how to treat mediocre players like royalty. Burrell fits that bill to a tee, but he was here when the Phillies won the World Series in 2008, so he’s going to be a legend in this city forever.
Yeah, that’s the reason. They don’t call him “Pat the Bat” for nothing. The dude probably has had more women in this city than the rest of the Phillies’ teams every year in their existence have had combined. Can’t hate him for that, though.
