This morning on 97.5 The Fanatic’s morning show with Anthony Gargano, Adam Schefter was a guest – as he will be every Wednesday morning during the NFL season. Schefter nearly blew the roof off above me after he said he picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl, saying, “ESPN had us submit our picks for the year yesterday. I took Philadelphia vs. Baltimore in the Super Bowl, and I do believe I have the Eagles winning it.”
Stop da presses, yo.
First off, who doesn’t remember who they picked to win the Super Bowl? I get Adam’s a busy guy, but come on. Secondly, he almost has to believe Sam Bradford stays healthy to make such a prediction, and also have the utmost confidence in Chip Kelly’s new roster. Who’d have thunk it?
…
On the other hand, former Eagles president, Joe Banner, picks the… Eagles to win the Super Bowl, also.

This might not be an asinine prediction as some may believe. Banner predicted a Patriots/Seahawks Super Bowl last year.
The end is near.
