Xfinity Live! has made a wise business decision, and it’s likely going to boost sales this football season. They’ve officially announced Dan Baker, the current Phillies and former Eagles PA announcer, will join the party to become their exclusive in-house PA announcer for Eagles games. Baker had previously been the Eagles’ PA announcer at Lincoln Financial Field from 1985 until last year.
A Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame inductee in 2012, Baker will announce 12 of the 15 Eagles’ games left this season.
Legendary Public Address Announcer Dan Baker brings the voice of Philadelphia sports to XFINITY Live! in his new position as the host of game day coverage during Philadelphia Eagles home and away games.
Known as Philadelphia’s “fourth stadium”, fans will experience the excitement and passion of an “in-stadium” atmosphere as Baker announces Eagles games over XFINITY Live!’s PA system. Baker will also lead fans in the Eagles fight song after every touchdown.
Full schedule of Eagles games Dan Baker will announce:
