There’s nothing like an ex that’s psycho-obsessed with you to inflate your ego a little bit, is there? Well, we’re pretty close.
In a recent article in GQ, McCoy lamented about DeMarco Murray, saying, “I think Murray’s good. But I don’t see him as competition as far as the best backs. I like my game a lot.”
Of course, Murray would be asked about those comments today at practice, and he responded thusly:
“At some point you’ve got to move on with your life and career. I never worry about what someone else says about me, good, bad, and ugly,” he said.
“I can only control what I can control, and I can’t control what someone else says about me. It’s funny, but I don’t take anything to heart. He has his opinion, I’m sure everyone else has theirs. I’m not worried about it at all.”
For some reason, I believe Murray even though I have a feeling he’s using those comments to further motivate him to prove McCoy, and a lot of others, wrong this season.
