Cody Parkey’s season is done. The Eagles placed Parkey on season-ending IR today and signed Caleb Sturgis. The team had Nick Novak [who was my favorite for them to sign], Billy Cundiff, “Murderleg” Carey Spear, Kai Forbath and Shayne Graham in to try out today.
The skinny on Sturgis? This might be the best:
Sturgis’s career percentage is 77.5%, which isn’t great by any means. His career long for a field goal is 54 yards.
