Good news for [college] football fans in Philly. They have a real college football team to root for now, and they’re the Temple Owls.
The Owls are now officially ranked in the Top 25 national college football teams in America. The last time they were ranked, I wasn’t even born yet.
In the AP poll, the Owls were ranked 22nd. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, they were ranked 24th.
The Owls defeated UCF on Saturday night, 30-16.
Head coach Matt Rhule addressed the media on Sunday about it.
