According to Jason La Canfora, the Eagles and Redskins have been notified that they will play this weekend.
We told you before the NFL was putting contingency plans in order in case they had to move or cancel the game. With Joaquin’s path changing every few hours, the storm is now projected to not hit the Washington area until Monday if it takes that track. Here’s the latest track, via the National Hurricane Center:

It’s still early and Joaquin’s track can change at any moment. But for now, it looks like if the track does change and come up the eastern coast, it won’t be until well after this game is set to occur. ESPN’s Dianna Russini says the game will still take place at FedEx Field.
Eagles and Redskins kick off at 1 P.M. Sunday in Landover, MD.
