In what shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, but the naïve, Florida State University and the Tallahassee police have been protecting the players that have been accused of sexually abusing women for years, per a report, with the biggest instance being the Jameis Winston case.

The New York Times is reporting that FSU reported very few rape cases to the U.S. A former FSU official states that number of sexual battery cases was so much higher than what was reported by the University, mainly due to these assaults taking place off campus and the federal Clery Act, which does not require the school to include the off-campus incidents. Therefore, players could do whatever they wanted off-campus and the scum that protected them could use the Clery act to shield said players.
At what point does doing what’s right come into play? We’ve seen this nonsense happen all across the country, including Jerry Sandusky raping boys at Penn State. Football is everything at these small town Universities. But, when do the people at these schools say enough is enough?
It’s pretty simple to me. All forms of sexual assault are bad. The scum that assault and the filth that protect those that assault need to be held accountable. Period. If you see something, say something. People need to rise up and with social media at their disposal, we can make a difference. That pretty little trophy a school wins for a Championship isn’t worth the pain and suffering that the victims are already going through.
