Another week, another Greg Hardy story. This guy just never ceases to amaze. Hardy reportedly showed up late Thursday to the Cowboys complex, missing all meetings in advance of the team’s latest loss. On Monday, Cowboys executive V.P. Stephen Jones essentially confirmed the reports by saying this to Jeff Cavanaugh of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas:

This isn’t the first unexcused absence for Hardy in Dallas. Hardy missed practice earlier this season. Rapoport also noted on NFL Network that Hardy also had issues with tardiness during his time with in Carolina and in college at Ole Miss.
Hardy’s late arrival came a day after he briefly changed his Twitter profile claiming his innocence of domestic violence. Jason Garrett acknowledged last week he talked to Hardy about his Twitter bio. The Cowboys have had to address at least four off-field incidents with Hardy since they signed him last spring.
Rod Marinelli spoke about Hardy, and his off field issues:
“I think he’s going through – it’s a tough time. He’s just got to come back in every day and work back at it, work at his craft. A craft he really loves. He’s got to have that ability to stay focused and in the present.
I think it’s his passion for the game. His mindset and wanting to work. He really loves playing football. You’ve been around guys. You’ve seen that. It’s a driving force for him – his work habits, all of those things. So hopefully we just keep grinding away with it and got to make sure – he wants to do so much, you can’t do too much. Just play the game and get his pads down and do those things correctly because he is the type of guy who can really be a force for us.”
That sounds like another endorsement to me. So, as the Dallas soap opera continues, it seems they’re plenty happy to continue supporting the man that is a cancer to their locker room, the NFL, and mankind.
JG on Hardy: "I don't think it's been easy for him… highly scrutinized guy. We're trying to create an environment for him to be his best."
