Two days ago, we told you about a report by WIP’s and FOX’s Howard Eskin that said the Eagles offered Sam Bradford a contract extension for four years, worth $72 million. Mike Garafolo joined Anthony Gargano on 97.5 The Fanatic yesterday morning, basically saying Bradford was offered a contract by the team, with not as much guaranteed money.
Well, today, Bradford denied that report, saying he never got an offer.

Whether a contract offer was on the table or not, I think it’s safe to say it’s a good thing that contract was never agreed upon. It would’ve been foolish of Bradford to pass on a deal like that unless he thought this season would be the best of his career, netting him an even bigger deal. At this moment, it’s looking less and less likely Bradford will be the Eagles quarterback next season.
But, stranger things have happened.
