A lot of which accompanies the Philly fan reputation in general is the consumption of alcohol. Indeed, a lot of the incidents that have left a black eye on our city and our fans have included your seemingly neverending beer supply during Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers games.
And, of course, that’s why Eagles fans ranked third overall in drunkest fans out of the 32 NFL teams.

Does this really surprise any of you? I’m just surprised we’re not one or two. Though, I really can’t argue with the Bills and Lions fans being ranked ahead (or is it below…?) of us – they’ve really got it bad.
The study is limited to this season through the first seven weeks, so it makes more sense Eagles fans have likely drowned out their sorrows with the current 3-4 start, and losing in very embarrassing fashion and, really, winning in embarrassing fashion, too. Honestly, that Giants game on Sunday night is the only good game this team has played. And, it was against the Giants, so does it even count? Here’s a toast to the rest of the season.
