FOX Sports NFL Insider, Jay Glazer, apparently had a conversation with Chip Kelly tonight about what has transpired with his firing in Philadelphia. Here’s what Glazer had to say on Twitter about their conversation.
Just talked to Chip Kelly, disappointed how it ended but knows it's a results-oriented biz. Insists (cont) https://t.co/ADOmPJfiEE

Kelly said few times he really wants to remain in the NFL

Even players and some coaches trying to find out info on what happened too

In my convo w Chip he said next stop he just wants to coach & insists he does NOT want to be the personnel guy too. This is significant

That last Tweet is HUGE! There was a report out earlier tonight that Kelly balked at the idea of having player personnel control taken away from him. If what Glazer is saying is true, we need to know more about what took place behind closed doors between Kelly and Lurie because somewhere along the lines there’s a disconnect.
Also, that last part will certainly make Kelly more attractive to teams that may be interested in him. Clearly Kelly struggled with player personnel decisions while in Philly.
