Look up in the sky. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s… Bill Belichick? To this moment, I’ve been okay with the move by the Eagles to fire Chip Kelly. That was until I heard Bill Belichick come to Kelly’s defense. Now I’m questioning myself. Well – not really. But, when Belichick talks, one must at least listen, right? I mean, he barely ever talks.
At Belichick’s Wednesday press conference, the topic of coaching changes came up. The evil genius didn’t even wait for the question to finish before he shared his true feelings on the subject.
He didn’t hold back either. Here’s what he had to say, via Mass Live.
I think it’s, yeah, I’d say it’s really disappointing. Chip Kelly to me is a really good football coach. He does a great job. He did a good job with that team. It’s disappointing to see Josh (McDaniels) in Denver, there’s a lot of examples. Pretty much everybody is on a one-year contract in this league. I don’t know how you build a program in one year. But, look, Chip’s a great coach. He’ll end up somewhere. He’ll do a great job there. I’d say a lot of the players that were on the Eagles that are no longer on the Eagles aren’t really doing too much for anybody else, either.”
He’s right, though. This team played like garbage most of the year. I just hope that we don’t end up regretting the decision that was made.

Players no longer on the Eagles aren’t doing too much??!! LeSean had a pretty good year, as did Maclin. Our team would have been better with both. Belichek can hum on my balls.
