Sunday Connor Barwin was out on the field in Foxboro, MA when fans that were on the field began heckling him. This isn’t abnormal as fans continue to get more access to the players, So what was said?
“They were kind of messing with me. Talking about how I wasn’t going to get any sacks, we weren’t going to win, blah, blah, blah. And I just said make sure you have a beer ready for me after we win.”
Barwin went on to collect two sacks on the day while helping the Eagles beat the Pats, 35-28. So, the fans just left the stadium without holding up their end of the bargain, right? Nope. Surprisingly the fans stuck around and paid up.
“Sure enough, we won and they had a Bud Light ready for me, so I grabbed it on my way out.”

For all of the stories of Pats fans being poor losers (shocking, I know), it’s cool to see that these fans stuck around to honor their bet. Now do we think Barwin shotgunned the beer, or funneled it?
