DeMarco Murray finally spoke to the media this week to address his thoughts on his role on the team and the “talk” that he had with Jeff Lurie. He apparently hasn’t been all to happy with the way that he’s been used. In fact, rumors have even surfaced that he wants to get cut so that he can go back to Dallas.
If he wasn’t happy before, he probably won’t be happy now. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Murray has slid to the bottom of the depth chart behind Ryan Matthews, Darren Sproles, and Kenyon Barner. The report also states per Albert Breer of NFL Media, the Eagles believe that Murray lacks the burst that the other three backs have shown. My how the mighty have fallen.
Eagles don't see enough burst or ability to make guys miss from Murray. Sproles will get run. Mathews' snaps will be based on conditioning.

The Eagles feel stuck now – not good!
After a troubling week, #Eagles have weighed all options with DeMarco Murray, even sitting him. Either way, Darren Sproles will be featured

Apparently Murray doesn’t think that Chip Kelly is “approachable” and questions both him and running backs coach, Duce Staley, to Lurie. What!?
On DeMarco Murray's chat with Jeffrey Lurie: Murray didn't think Chip was approachable. Murray questioned Kelly & Duce Staley to the owner

As for his talk with Jeffrey Lurie, my understanding is he didn’t approach Chip Kelly for the same talk because he didn’t think Chip was as approachable … which, of course, represents a bigger problem,” Rapoport said. “Murray has not made a ton of friends in the Eagles‘ locker room, this rubs some people the wrong way, especially this week. So it’s worth considering what role he will have going forward.”
It’ll be interesting to see how the season ends for Murray and the Eagles. Winning will temporarily cure everything, but make no mistake about it – this one is heading for a bad ending.
Lmfao!
