The DeMarco Murray frustrations have been well documented as of late. Today, Murray spoke with the The News Journal of Delaware about his thoughts on the firing of Chip Kelly.

Not exactly earth-shattering stuff, but maybe the true message is in the brevity of his statement. He offered no words of well wishing, frustration, or regret. Murray did have some more to say though regarding the situation through his point of view.

I really can’t get a read on Murray. Is he the world’s most boring interview aside from Chip? Does he have zero passion for this team and city? Or is he just a by the book, boring, quiet guy? Just seems like he never says much, like when he was asked if he wanted to be an Eagle earlier in the season, and gave this juicy statement (read: sarcasm):
As long as they want to keep me, I want to stay.”
Yes, DeMarco. We all know you guys could have played better, and we also know you’ll stay as long as we want you, because, you know, you’re under contract and have no choice. Can someone please figure this man out for me? And if you don’t want to be here, make it known and let us get you out. None of us want you being a cancer and bitching all next season when we should hopefully all be “more collaborative.”
Can’t you give the guy a break? He has to be boring just because he’s quiet and doesn’t want to answer your questions the way you want him to?
I personally prefer that the players stay out of this mess with the “media”! Its at least reseptful. (no relation to DeMarco)
Guy you’re an idiot just like Chip Kelly and the rest of the Eagles organization. The guy was a hot starter for America’s Team and was held back to meager performances by this franchise. So he plays it cool when the douche bag that kept him sidelined most of the season gets his and you’re calling him boring? You’re as hopeless as the team you write for.
Sometimes the Philly media is so ridiculous with some of the stuff did they say if a player says too much he’s a problem. If a player doesn’t say much at all he’s boring, best thing is Chip Kelly’s gone I got my team back man I feel like a Philadelphia Eagle fan again. By Kelly by!
