What in the world just happened? The Philadelphia Eagles shocked the world and likely themselves tonight when they beat the New England Patriots 35-28 on the road.
Like many others, I wasn’t exactly excited about today’s game and was just hoping it wasn’t as embarrassing as the Eagles last two outings. Sure enough, this team continues to be as unpredictable as humanly possible and pulled off the upset fueled by their special teams and pass rush. It’s worth noting that Sam Bradford returned and played his ass off. He didn’t turn the ball over and made some clutch throws down the final stretch of the game.
It’s safe to say Bradford shockingly outplayed Tom Brady in today’s game. So what did Twitter have to say about Bradford’s performance as well as the rest of the team? Let’s take a look at some of the best tweets following Philadelphia’s upset win in New England!
1) This should bring back some awesome memories for Sixers’ fans and it’s a hilarious shot at Brady.

2) Considering my undying love for Pokemon and the Eagles, this was perfect.

3) Connor Barwin apparently pulled a Stone Cold Steve Austin following the game. THIS. IS. AWESOME.

4) He sure did, Najee, he sure did.

5) Last but not least, how about some salty remarks from a Patriots’ fan?
If there was a 5th quarter no way Eagles win today. There's your story. Print it.

All in all, the Eagles came out today and showed they still have some gas left in the tank. Will it be enough to win the awful NFC East? Nobody knows. But maybe we should just let the season play itself out before we start calling for people’s heads once again. Also, be sure to check out my full game recap that will be posted tomorrow!
