Poor Lane Johnson. He can’t decide whether he liked or hated Chip Kelly. As we told you earlier, last night Johnson made some fairly reasonable comments when talking about Kelly with 94WIP’s Paul Jolovitz.
Today, Johnson woke up on the other side of the bed. Here are some comments that Johnson made about Kelly via Matt Lombardo.
Lane Johnson: I think there was tension in the front office and anytime you have that going on up there, it's never good. #Eagles #NFL

Lane Johnson: I liked Chip. I had no personal problem with Chip. He drafted me, I made great strides under him here. #Eagles

Lane Johnson: several players didn't think Chip Kelly was approachable. Compared him to Belichick in that regard. #Eagles #NFL

Lane Johnson: People felt more comfortable talking to position coaches. I could personally talk to Chip, he was unapproachable sometimes.

Lane Johnson: I want to see a guy who really cares about his players and isn't so set in his ways so we can all go in the same direction.

This isn’t the first time this season that Johnson has forgotten his own thoughts. First he took verbal shots at fans. The next minute he was walking back his comments.
At this point, I just urge Johnson to zip his trap.
