Before Jeffrey Lurie took to the podium this afternoon at the NovaCare Complex, the Comcast SportsNet panel was discussing possible head coaching candidates for the Eagles, and a very familiar name came up. It sounds like Ray Didinger has heard some rumblings that Jon Gruden is getting the itch to return to coaching in the NFL. Watch below.

You guys have no clue. Gruden would never live his mon. Night football gig. Also he’s been out of coaching way too long. To many other coordinators that r better fit for the Eagles.

More of this crap? 1. Gruden is not coming to coaching ANYWHERE. 2. If he did, it would not be in a dump like Philly. The eagles are a bottom 3 franchise right now, bottom 5 all time. Outside of the Andy Reid era, this place has been a joke. 3. How does a hack, know-nothing Philly area nobody like Diddinger even have a job? He is a worthless local idiot with no clout of any kind. Philly fans, you are getting a middle of the road coach. Whoever it is will be a low level assistant or coordinator. The eagles will CONTINUE to be a mediocre bottom tier team into the future. They will “compete” as long as the NFC East continues to suck, but the giants job will attract a better coach, the redskins are trending up, so that means eagles and cowboys will compete for the bottom of the worst conference in football.
