-Lurie says Chip is a smart guy and it was a bold decision to hire him. Then it was an even bolder decision to give him all of that power.
-He said he wanted Chip to be held accountable for all of his decisions since he wanted all of that power. It’s pretty clear that Chip deflected blame whenever he could throughout his three years.
-End result of giving Chip all that power was mediocrity, Lurie says.

-New coach needs to open his heart to players.
-Not necessarily looking for offensive-minded coach. Will look at college, NFL and retired coaches.
