With the Eagles losing to the Skins last night, it’s no surprise that Eagles fans now have to endure trash talking from Washington players and supporters. DeSean Jackson got the ball rolling on that front last night.
Last night we told you about how a group of Eagles fans burned a DeSean Jackson jersey before the game. A reporter from csnmidatlantic.com decided to do some further analysis on the video after the Skins won the game. Daniel Martin gave his his top five moments from the tape.
Here’s a sample:
The factual error – Throwback Randall Cunningham enters from the left side of the screen as the battle crier makes his way into the frame. He is making a sign indicating that someone is No. 1. If it’s not Wells Fargo — as we mentioned earlier — he must be referring to the Eagles. The latest look at said standings show us that, in fact, Washington is No. 1 in the NFC East and Philadelphia is No. 3. Just setting the record straight.”
Here’s one more for the road…
The pants worn by the guy behind the burning jersey – It’s the day after Christmas. You’re digging through your dresser for something to wear to the Eagles-Redskins game, then you finally find it. Nothing goes more perfectly with what looks like a DeMarco Murray jersey than tropical pants. Little did you know that you’d carve out a special place on the Internet that day. But so it was. The placement makes them almost unavoidable. They’re right behind the main event, that burning jersey. Right there in all of their glory.”
It’s funny that Skins fans hide out all year long and when they finally win a big game, here they are flaunting their W.
