The NFL announced on Thursday night that Brett Favre and Terrell Owens are among the finalists who will be considered for election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee Meeting will be held on February 6, 2016, in San Francisco.
To be elected, a finalist must receive a minimum of 80 percent of the votes. The controversial Owens played in the Super Bowl with the 2004 Eagles. For his career he had 15,934 receiving yards, to go along with 153 touchdown receptions. His 15,934 receiving yards are the second-most in NFL history, behind only his former 49ers teammate Jerry Rice. Owens was one of three former players who became a finalist in his first year of eligibility.

I don’t care what anyone says, the year that we went to the Super Bowl with T.O. was the most exciting Philly team I’ve seen in my life. The question remains, is he Hall of Fame worthy? Let us know on social media and in the comments section.
