Philadelphia fan favorite Roy Halladay has come out swinging against Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds in regards to their worthiness of being in the Hall of Fame, due to their suspected ties to PED’s. Clemens and Bonds have been on the Hall of Fame ballot previously. Both have yet to receive 40 percent of the vote.
Both players appear to be picking up steam this year with voters, at least on the ballots that have been made public, via foxsports.com. Barry Bonds even returned to baseball this year. He’s now the hitting coach for the Marlins. Hopefully, he doesn’t pass down steroid tips to the young Marlins’ hitters. Calm down! It’s just a joke.
Halladay voiced his thoughts on whether Bonds and Clemens should be in the Hall of Fame on his twitter account.
When you use PEDs you admit your not good enough to compete fairly! Our nations past time should have higher standards! No Clemens no Bonds!

I’m certain that Halladay isn’t the only player/former player to feel this way, but I give major props to him for voicing his opinion.
Halladay pitched for the Phillies from 2010-2013. He’ll be eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2019.
