Todd Zolecki reports the Phillies have avoided salary arbitration and signed Freddy Galvis to a one-year, $2 million contract.
Galvis had seven home runs in 2015 to go with 50 RBIs. He had a career-high 151 games played and 603 plate appearances, finishing with a career-high .263 batting average. His OBP was .302, slugging percentage .343 and OPS .645.
