We reported to you earlier today that Josh Innes called Eagles’ center, Jason Kelce, a “House Negro.” Well, Twitter and social media blew up after that, and now Josh has apologized on-air for his “stupidity.” All on his own, I’m sure.
“I’m the dumbest human being on the planet. My intention was not to offend anybody. I apologize for that, I truly do. I’m an idiot. I see people are making fun of me across the country, and you should be, because I’m stupid.”
Controversy is good for ratings in the radio business, but this was definitely over the top. Audio of Innes’ apology below.
