On Saturday night, GOP candidates took the stage for this year’s Presidential Race To The Podium. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was the first one out of the gate.
But it was a tight race as Dr. Ben Carson began closing in on Christie in second place.
Dr. Carson’s coach continued to yell words of encouragement in hopes Ben would push through the pain. “Go! Go! Go!” he proclaimed. “This is your chance!”
But it wasn’t enough. Coming up on his right, Senator Ted Cruz passed Carson taking second.
It was like Dr. Carson just handed his position away without a fight.
Eventually Donald Trump began racing alongside Dr. Carson tying for fourth. But then all of a sudden out of left field, Former Governor Jeb “Lightning” Bush passes with ease.
And even though Dr. Carson did not come in first this year, he reminded spectators that winning is not the most important thing in life.
