Who will be the Eagles’ quarterback next season? That’s the million dollar question. The answer all depends on what happens with Sam Bradford and whether he will test the free-agent market or not. It certainly seems like that’s where things are headed right now. Especially, if he and his agent thinks that he’s worth more than $16 million a season.
Should Bradford end up elsewhere next season, Ian Rapoport has a thought on who could be a replacement. Rapoport suggests that one name to watch is Chase Daniel who Doug Pederson views as more than just a backup.
Was asked about #Eagles QB situation: One name to watch is #KCChiefs FA QB Chase Daniel. Coach Doug Pederson views him as more than a backup

Chase Daniel was the backup quarterback the last three seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs while Pederson was offensive coordinator. He went undrafted coming out of college and is a career backup in the NFL. Daniel has thrown for 464 yards and one touchdown for his career. This doesn’t mean that Daniel is a bad starting quarterback. It just means there is absolutely no evidence that he is a good one.
However, if Pederson is comfortable with him it then seems like a logical move to make. I’m just not sure I’d be comfortable with him coming in as the starter. You never know how things will play out, but put me in the unimpressed category.

ESPN’s Adam Caplan is also reporting that former 49ers’ practice squadder, McLeod Bethel-Thompson, will sign with the Eagles. That’d make him and Mark Sanchez the only two quarterbacks on the roster at this moment. Yikes.
Eagles should trade for Aaron Murray from douggie’s homie andy in Kansas City.go douggie go!
