Last night, the Flyers visited the Nashville Predators and scored six goals en route to a 6-3 win against their former coach, Peter Laviolette.
This is newsworthy not only because the Flyers finally scored some goals in a game, but the Predators had only let up one goal per game in the previous five games. If you can math, that’s five goals allowed in their previous five games. Pretty impressive by the Flyers.
At one point in the second period, Claude Giroux scored his first of two goals in the game, and decided to celebrate with not only his own team, but the Predators as well.
That lady who I would assume is a Predators fan in the background of the celebration doesn’t look happy at all. Never change, Claude.
