Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson talked to the media earlier today from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Here are some highlights:
- Bye, DeMeco.
- The Eagles are currently negotiating a new contract with Sam Bradford. You’ll remember just yesterday Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole said Bradford would hit free agency, even though most NFL teams think he’s going to re-sign with the Eagles.
- Howie missed the combine. SHOTS FIRED AT CHIP!
- Eagles have led the league in drafting the offensive line the last three years… and that remains a top priority. Yeesh.
- Howie doesn’t necessarily think a player who may have done something stupid off the field will keep them off the Eagles’ board.
- Eagles have 3,000 reports and four per player in their scouting system. Wowzers.
- We’re trying to know a lot about a little and not a little about a lot. !
