Brandon will have to dig his “Bair” claws into the dirt elsewhere.
The Philadelphia Eagles released defensive lineman Brandon Bair on Friday.
The 31-year-old played sparingly over the last two seasons with the Eagles, posting 28 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks. He was originally brought in as a practice squad player in 2013.
Coupled with the trade of Mark Sanchez to the Denver Broncos, the Eagles freed up $5.25 million in cap space in less than an hour. Bair’s release opened up $725,000.
