Nolan Carroll is returning to the nest.
The Philadelphia Eagles will sign the 29-year-old cornerback to a one-year deal on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Carroll was arguably the team’s best cornerback a year ago, outplaying the high-priced Byron Maxwell the first month, before being lost for the season with a broken ankle in the Eagles’ Week 12 Thanksgiving loss to the Detroit Lions. He posted 57 tackles and two interceptions.
While the Eagles signed cornerbacks Leodis McKelvin and Ron Brooks to contracts last week, Carroll visited the Dallas Cowboys before leaving without a deal. He will be in the mix as a possible starter alongside second-year corner Eric Rowe in Philadelphia’s secondary.
Inking a one-year pact allows Carroll to increase his value for next offseason while proving he can return to full strength following the injury. He should be 100 percent healthy by the beginning of OTA’s.

According to Ian Rapoport, Carroll will make $2.36 million and could earn up to $3 million next season.
