Originally, the Flyers-Penguins outdoor game next season was scheduled for February 18th, 2017. Now, the date has been changed to accommodate a night-time setting, so you guys can pregame to your heart’s desire. From the Flyers’ website:
The Pittsburgh Penguins® will play host to the Philadelphia Flyers® outdoors at Heinz Field, home of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 as part of the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™, the National Hockey League (NHL®) announced today. The new date of the event allows for a night-time setting that will be broadcast in primetime on NBC in the United States and on Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada at 8 p.m. ET.
Additional details on the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ – including ticketing information and other events surrounding the game – will be announced in the coming months.
So, like I said before… who’s in for a road trip!?
