Eagles Add Another Speedster to the Wide Receiver Mix

The Philadelphia Eagles added another cheap option to the mix at wide receiver Friday, signing speedster T.J. Graham to a one-year deal.

Eagles vice president of football operations Howie Roseman said this offseason that he’s looking for deep threats at receiver. Graham joins Chris Givens and Rueben Randle as receivers who Philadelphia have inked to one-year contracts.

The 26-year-old Graham, who has caught just seven passes the last two years, was one of four players the Eagles had in for a tryout this week. Like Givens, Graham ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the 2012 combine. The third-round NC State product’s best year came as a rookie in 2012 when he hauled in 31 balls for 322 yards and a touchdown.

Graham has a career yards-per-reception average of 13.0, while Givens’ is 16.6.

Nine players on the current roster are now wide receivers.
