The Flyers have announced that they will be giving the late Ed Snider a public celebration at the Wells Fargo Center. The event will be held on Thursday, April 21st and will start at 1:00 P.M.
Comcast Spectacor, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Snider Family invite fans and friends and to gather at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, April 21, and celebrate the life of Ed Snider. Father of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey club, family man, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr. Snider was a true visionary in the sports and entertainment industry, and a towering figure in the City of Philadelphia for more than 50 years. The event begins promptly at 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Doors to the Wells Fargo Center will open at 11:30 a.m.”
It’s only fitting that the Flyers would have such an event. It’s also great for the fans to have a chance to celebrate the life of a great man at such a setting.
