In a well-deserved honor, Villanova head men’s basketball coach, Jay Wright, was named the Naismith Coach of the Year yesterday at the Naismith award brunch. Wright was also named Naismith Coach of the Year in 2006.

Wright was named the Big East Coach of the Year earlier this season, and has won that honor three years in a row.
