I was late getting home tonight from my high school baseball game [yep, I’m a coach, and we’re in first place…], and I was listening to the beginning of the Flyers-Capitals playoff game on the radio. The Flyers paid tribute to their late owner, Ed Snider, with an amazing video tribute that I felt through the radio into my veins. It was surreal. I can’t explain it. Then, the Flyers went out and scored in the first minute. You can’t script this stuff. Except, maybe with the Flyers, you can.
