Fletcher Cox still hasn’t gotten his lucrative extension and he along with Jason Peters have not shown up for the Philadelphia Eagles’ voluntary camp, according to Howard Eskin.
Two players who did not show for #Eagles voluntary camp, DE Fletcher Cox and LT Jason Peters. Coaches do like players to show @FOX29philly

Is this a big deal? No, not really. It’s not mandatory, but we’ll see if Cox and Peters are participants for the Eagles’ pre-draft voluntary mini camp on April 19. And it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if they didn’t show up for that either. Philly has 69 of its 71 players under contract at camp, which began Monday and is mainly for strength and conditioning purposes.
Philadelphia gets to start earlier because Doug Pederson is a first-year head coach. Teams without a coach in his inaugural season with a franchise aren’t allowed to hold workouts until after the draft.
