Carson Wentz Looked Good at OTAs, Sam Bradford Did Not

It’s early, there’s no pads on and the drills are no contact. Let’s remember that before taking the following too seriously.

Carson Wentz looked good in Tuesday’s practice open to the media. But incumbent starter Sam Bradford did not.

The rookie Wentz appeared comfortable in the pocket, throwing the ball with precision and accuracy. The North Dakota State product was pretty flawless besides missing an open receiver in the back left corner of the end zone on a deep ball. Bradford, meanwhile, overthrew some of his targets and struggled on the few deep passes he attempted.

Bradford will still be the starter on opening day barring injury, but it’s nice to see the rook making progress quickly.

In other news, former Giants receiver Rueben Randle had gallbladder surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the voluntary practices.
