Not good. But it might not be too bad. Maikel Franco slid into second base today during a play that saw Tommy Joseph hit a sacrifice fly to centerfield and Cameron Maybin’s throw home to try and get a tagging Freddy Galvis was way off the mark and, noticing that, Franco took second.
His slide caused him to turn his ankle.

He left the game in the eighth inning and was replaced by Andres Blanco at third base.
