We told you last month about Nerlens Noel being sued under claims that he destroyed the home he was renting last year. The lawsuit claims that there was extensive damage from Gatorade stains, drugs and toilet damage to the 4,800 square foot home outside of Philly.
The lawsuit also goes on to say that not only did Noel trash the place, but that he also left weed all throughout the home, and that he also allegedly threatened the owners after he moved out.
In their lawsuit, the owners of the home list the damage they found:
– Splashed neon colored sports drinks (such as Gatorade) on the carpets throughout the home.
– $30,000 in other damage to carpets
– Extreme water damage throughout the home
– Clogged toilets filled with cotton balls and feces
– Broken elevator
– $4,000 in damage to the stove
– damage to the fridge
– damage to the blinds
– damage to dishwasher
– torn window screens
The best part is that the owners say the plumber who fixed the toilet said the damage was so bad, he said, “Someone must not like you.” Add that to the list along with the owners demanding $42,000 and then being sent a tombstone with RIP written on it, which they considered a death threat, and the couple upped the lawsuit to wanting more than $75,000.
Well, Noel has finally responded to the accusations and is claiming the allegations that he absolutely destroyed the home he was renting are pure bullshit, and he also added that he never threatened to kill the owners. He’s fired back with legal documents of his own and adamantly denied the claims. Noel even says he tried to work with the owners to repair the carpet damage, even though he wasn’t entirely convinced he had caused the alleged damage.
In all of this, it’s said that Noel is most upset about the tombstone allegation and is insisting it was just a Halloween decoration that was left on the property and was not a threat.
Here are some very grainy pictures from the lawsuit:
