Owning the first overall pick, and a plethora of other picks has its privileges. Today, Ben Simmons worked out with the Sixers, who reportedly have told him they’ll be selecting him first overall in the NBA Draft. The Sixers have talked to every team. They've probably had active discussions with 5, 6, 7 in regards to trades.

If Colangelo moves into the top eight, it’d be a great move for him. He just better hit on it.
