Fletcher Cox and Darren Sproles get a pass right now, but that changes next week.
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson stated in his press conference before Friday’s practice that he expects Cox and Sproles to be in attendance for next week’s mandatory minicamp.
Cox and Sproles have not participated in any of the voluntary workouts.
Cox is set to make $7.89 million this season in the final year of his rookie deal and has been seeking a contract extension with the team.
“All indications lean toward him being here,” Pederson said of Cox. “We actually expect him to be here Monday when the players report.”
Pederson admitted that he has not spoken to Cox, but did state that Eagles vice president of football operations Howie Roseman and Cox’s agent Todd France “have had talks.”
Cox has done a fine job of trolling the internet this offseason, sending out these tweets Thursday.

Pederson also said that he has not talked to Sproles, but running backs coach Duce Staley has.
“I know Duce and Darren are close, they’ve talked.” he said.
