Mark Cuban Launches a Verbal Assault at Donald Trump the Businessman

Either you love Donald Trump or you loathe him. There’s no in-between. You either think he’s this amazing godlike figure or you think he’s dumber than dog poo.

I’m being polite here.

Without getting political, Trump [Drumpf] is best known for being a businessman and an entertainer. While most politicians just lie all the time, I am intrigued by what actual businessmen think of Trump. It just so happens that a well-known businessman who happens to be the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks recently gave his thoughts on Trump as a businessman.

Mark Cuban was on WABC’s The Bernie and Sid Show and he talked about how he reviewed Trump’s SEC filings and tried to determine his net worth. That’s when things got interesting. Here’s what Cuban had to say via Fortune.com.

I know what I’m good at, and I know what I’m not good at. I’m not so sure Donald knows what he’s not good at. What he’s done well is put his name on big, big buildings. He’s good at that. Whether or not that’s made him a billionaire, I don’t know. He’s not transparent enough for us to actually know.”

“When you’re putting your name on steaks, and you’re putting your name on water, you’re putting your name on playing cards, you’re putting your name on all this nonsense, right—you’re not gonna make big bucks, no matter what. It’s not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It’s not like it was gonna make him $5 million.”

For all of you out there that will dismiss Cuban as another liberal hack that the media is cheering on, you may just want to hush yourself. Trump is running for the highest office in the United States. If his claim to fame is the business that he has run, then this is all fair game.
